Kube Energy Solar Plant – Baidoa

Kube Energy Solar Plant – Baidoa

Dynocol designed, installed, and commissioned a utility-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Baidoa for KUBE ENERGY—delivering turnkey renewable power solutions that bolster UNSOS’s energy independence and reduce operational costs.

Kube Energy Solar Plant

The story

From Concept to Commissioning

Dynocol began by working closely with KUBE ENERGY and UNSOS to define the plant’s capacity, identify the optimal site, and assess environmental conditions. Detailed insolation studies, soil surveys, and environmental impact assessments informed a layout that maximizes energy yield while preserving local ecosystems .

Our engineering team then finalized the array configuration and civil works design. Foundations were cast with low-carbon concrete mixes, and access roads were constructed to support heavy equipment delivery. We employed modular, prefabricated racking systems to expedite on-site assembly and ensure precise alignment of the solar panels.

Managing the supply chain, Dynocol procured premium PV modules, inverters, transformers, and cabling through our global network. All components underwent stringent quality control at arrival, with pre-shipment inspections and shock-monitoring protocols to safeguard against transport damage. Local warehousing and bonded storage enabled just-in-time delivery to the Baidoa site.

Installation culminated in comprehensive system commissioning: panel string voltages and inverter performance were validated under load, SCADA telemetry was configured for real-time monitoring, and safety systems were tested to international standards. Following training for UNSOS operations staff, the plant was energized—immediately offsetting diesel consumption with clean solar power.
