Responsibilities:

Lead design, analysis, and detailing of structural and civil works for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Prepare and review feasibility studies, site investigations, and geotechnical reports to inform foundation and earth‐works designs.

Develop civil engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications in accordance with local codes and international standards (ACI, BS, Eurocode).

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams—architects, MEP, EIC, and environmental specialists—to ensure seamless integration of civil works.

Oversee on‐site execution: monitor contractor performance, enforce quality‐control and HSSE protocols, and resolve technical issues in real time.

Manage project schedules, budgets, and change orders; provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering skills transfer and adherence to Dynocol’s ISO‐certified processes.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy civil or building‐construction projects, preferably in East Africa or similar environments.

Proven track record with design‐build or EPC delivery models and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or equivalent BIM platforms.

Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, earthworks, drainage, and reinforced‐concrete design.

Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and stakeholder‐management skills.
-
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an asset.

Willingness to travel between project sites and work flexible hours as project demands require.
